Hello, I’m Shailaja, artist at heart, a plant lover by soul, and the founder of String Garden Studio.
My journey with plants began at a time when the world slowed down, in 2020 during covid. What started as a simple hobby - creating Kokedamas - soon blossomed into a heartfelt business. Along the way, I discovered that working with plants isn’t just about greenery; it’s about grounding, mindfulness, and joy.
With a background in fashion design, special education, and entrepreneurship, I’ve always believed in the power of creativity and meaningful connections. Through String Garden Studio, I hope to bring the magic of handcrafted plant art into homes, offices, events, and hearts.
Today, I host workshops, corporate wellness sessions, and bespoke green décor projects with the aim to help people reconnect - with themselves, with each other, and nature.
